Dr. Javid Ali

Dr. Javed Ali is a Senior Director in International Medical Corps’ Emergency Response Unit. He led the humanitarian organization’s initial response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and has helped lead the organization’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic and other emergencies. Previously, Dr. Ali served as Medical Coordinator with International Medical Corps in Amman, Jordan.

Dr. Ali’s career began in 2011 at Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontieres). During his time with the organization, he served as the Clinical Activity Manager for the Reconstructive Surgical Program for victims of wars in Syria, Yemen, Iraq, Palestine and Jordan. He also was the Country Medical Coordinator in Nigeria, the Exploratory Mission Coordinator in Libya, the Medical Referent in South Sudan and the Country Medical Coordinator in Pakistan.
